New Post: 3rd party user controls

Hello again and sorry to bring back an old post.

In my original question I didn't mention I was using Composite C1 3.2 patch 1. Now I'm realizing burningice advise is not valid for my version. Is that correct?

How would be the best approach to install 3rd. party user controls in C1 3.2? do I need to install Contribution.CompositeC1Contrib.UserControlFunctions? If the answer is yes, there is a way of installing the package manually? I got an error when trying to do so using the console:

• The Windows user under which this C1 instance is running does not have write permission to file or folder '~\Web.config'.
• The Windows user under which this C1 instance is running does not have write permission to file or folder '~\App_Data\Composite\Composite.config'.
