New Post: Beginner Question

Hi;

I'm playing around with C1 here and it seems pretty good. I have a few questions:

In the sample Open Cph Starter Site are various pages, some are 3 column and in that column I see a navigation menu.

1. Is this column dedicated only to navigation?
2. Where in the page is the reference to the navigation?
3. These 1, 2 and 3 column pages - are these simply examples of what can be done? could one (if they really wanted) have 4 or more columns? Is this all flexible?
   

Finally what does "HeroUnit" mean? I'm seeing this all over the sample site but can't see what its for.
