New Post: jQuery UI tabs in content pages

It is hard to pinpoint the issue from the description - one way to get close to a fix could be this:
  1. Save the html of a generated page to a local file
  2. Make that page work (being outside the CMS this should be trivial)
  3. Implement the needed changes in your CMS page or template - or post details here of what the CMS seeminsly "ate"
The approach you describe above sounds just fine on the face of it, so doing these steps (locating in the html what the problem is) is probably the fastest way to shed light on this.
