typically, if you see an element you cannot edit on the page itself you can trace it via the page's template.

The Open Cph starter site has a specific template for the front page

• Layout perspective; /Page Templates/Front page
  

If you look in there you will see it is pulling in a Page Template Feature called "Front Page Content Start".
