Thanks so much to you both for your input.
Before posting these questions, I already installed C1 and migrated it to MSSQL database via SqlDataProvider (I installed it before the migration).
When I migrated the website into MSSQL, aren't the pre-installed pages supposed to be migrated into database too? And me-created new page? If not, how can I make them move into the database.
Another different question: If I chose Composite C1 as my CMS, should I take "Starter" website during the install?
Regards.

This is most puzzling to me. I actually deleted my sql user account after the migration. However, the home page and other pre-installed pages are still accessible. And the page I added after the MSSQL migration is still accessible. It depends on how the configuration is for the particular interfaces, in this case the interfaces related to pages like IPagePlaceholderContent, IPage, IPageStructureInfo etc. But per default it will be stored in XML, or in SQL if you've run the sql migrator package.
