The latest version of the Blog package (v. 2.1.4) is not compatible with the older versions of Composite C1. (You are running v 4.1, the latest is 4.2 Update 1).
Unfortunately, the latest version of the Blog package wasn't originally restricted to Composite C1 v 4.2 as the minimum version. That's why you can start installing the incompatible version but will eventually fail. I've changed the minimum C1 version for Blog 2.1.4 now to that of 4.2.
Additionally, I've just published Blog v 2.1.2 - the latest known Blog's version compatible with Composite C1 v. 4.1.
So If you are still running Version 4.1, try and install the Blog package again.
The correct version 2.1.2 should be listed now. (Please check it anyway).
