Thanks for the feedback, I solved it by not displaying a message box now :)

I'm now just using the 'RefreshTreeMessageQueueItem' to refresh all currently connected console instances (after a .csv file-import). That should be enough for this case. But it's nice to know how to get around it by using a IElementActionProvider. Thanks for pointing this out.
