When working on multi-lingual sites, having many pages open all the time, it can get very time consuming to do a language-switch inside the console, since all tabs will be closed and you have to spend time yourself on finding and opening the pages again.
It would save a lot of time if the console was able to remember which pages where open when doing the language-switch, and reopen them (if they exist) in the language you as an editor switch to.

Not fully implemented as described.
Change in 4.1 is that we will ensure that the tree element you was working with last will be focused (parent elements and perspective will be opened). No editor windows will be launched automatically, and only the last active document will be selected.
So 4.1 brings a very clear improvement in this area, but not quite the suggested feature. I'll leave this open in case anyone have an opinion on this. If you feel the 4.1 behavior is a good fix for this issue, suggest closing this.
