Commented Issue: Getting Error while running setup [1595]

Hi,

I have Windows 7 (32 bit) system. I had downloaded 'Composite C1' setup from "http://docs.composite.net/Getting-started/Download" path. When I am running the exe ,it is throwing error as "system is failed to install web Platform Installer. Click OK to use browser to download installer"

Can you please let me know why I am getting this error ?

When you "Click OK to use browser to download installer", do you actually download the Web PI installer?

You need a Web Platform Installer on your PC to run this CompositeC1CMS.exe. However, if you don't have it, you should automatically download Web PI.

Not sure why it didn't happen in your case.

1. Have you tried clicking the Install Now button here http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/install.aspx?appid=CompositeC1CMS?
2. What browser and version are you using when doing this?
