In 4.0 you can simply delete the /Composiite folder - in previous versions you need to also remove some specific elements in web.config (httpModules having 'Administrative' in their name).
Also in 4.0 you can edit the file ~/App_Data/Composite/Configuration/C1ConsoleAccess.xml and set enabled="false"
